There are gods that guard the prisons manifesting rage.
There are gods sold by the kilo
shrouding peoples minds.
There are gods in shopping plazas keeping us in
line.
There are gods inside the churches,
they pretend to care voicing hope never healing,
worshipping the air.
There are gods of old religions, they don’t give a damn.
There is one God of the ages who became a man
He knew no wrong became wrong, beaten in your place.
Saturated in your violence, incarnating grace.
There is ONLY ONE God. his name is Jesus
